Allen Sturgeon, Partner
Allen Sturgeon received his Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University College of Law, Fullerton CA, in 1974. His previous studies were in electronic engineering at North Eastern A & M College in Miami, OK. He pursued an engineering career in commercial electronics prior to obtaining his law degree and transitioning into the practice of law in 1974.
Allen is a litigator with over 35 years of experience in civil litigation. In addition to the "usual" types of tort cases, Allen has significant experience in successfully handling complex litigation of all types and catastrophic bodily injury cases with damage claims in eight figures. He also has extensive experience representing clients involved in contractual and/or other types of business disputes and counseling clients regarding business transactions.
Allen possesses keen insight into the issues involved and the path a litigated case should take in order to obtain the desired result in an efficient manner. In addition to trial work, Allen has significant experience resolving cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Allen's scientific background, low profile demeanor, and calm approach to litigation has fostered his reputation as a "go to" attorney, especially when cases are expert-driven by scientific or engineering issues.
Allen has tried over 50 cases to verdict in the courts of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego and has also litigated countless cases through arbitrations in all five Southern California counties.
Allen also serves as a pro bono Arbitrator with the Orange County Bar Association on fee disputes between attorneys and their clients.
